Nicole and Taylor’s Story

During her first pregnancy, Nicole developed a life-threatening condition called preeclampsia and had to induce baby Taylor at just 27 weeks. Taylor weighed only one pound and nine ounces and was the size of an adult hand. Due to the complications of her premature birth, she spent the first 94 days of her life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Taylor pulled through it, though, and was eventually able to go home with her family.

Today Taylor is a happy and healthy 11-year-old girl. She loves to help her mommy speak up for the unborn. Together, Taylor and Nicole are proof that people can beat the odds and that all life is sacred. Taylor is proof that even premature babies deserve to live. We don’t have to choose between the mom and the baby; we can protect them both.
